Spiced White Wine Sangria Recipe
This spiced white wine sangria is a refreshing, yet cozy way to celebrate the flavors of fall.
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle of Tanglewood’s Traminette
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1 pear, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup honey (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup of your favorite brandy or orange liqueur (optional)
- 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Fruits: Thinly slice the apple, pear, and orange. You can leave the peels on for added color and flavor.
Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, first add the sliced fruits, cinnamon stick, and ground nutmeg. Then pour in the white wine. Add the honey or maple syrup to sweeten the sangria, adjusting to your preference. And if you're looking for a bit of extra warmth, you can also add the optional brandy or orange liqueur.
Chill: Allow the mixture to chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld. The longer it chills, the more the fruits will infuse the wine with their essence.
Add Sparkle: Just before serving, add the sparkling water or club soda to the pitcher. This will give your sangria a delightful effervescence.
Garnish & Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the spiced white wine sangria over the ice. Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves for a burst of color and aroma.

Mulled Red Wine Recipe
This mulled red wine recipe is perfect for gatherings and cozy nights by the fireplace.
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle of Tanglewood’s Frontenac
- 1 orange, sliced
- 8-10 whole cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1-2 star anise pods
- 1/4 cup honey or brown sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup brandy or spiced rum for extra warmth (optional)
- Orange slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Combine Ingredients. Add wine, brandy, orange slices, cloves, cinnamon, star anise, and 2 tablespoons sweetener to a large saucepan. Stir briefly to combine.
Simmer. Cook the mulled wine on medium-high heat until it just barely reaches a simmer. (Avoid letting it bubble — you don’t want to boil off the alcohol.) Reduce heat to low, cover, and let the wine simmer anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 hours.
Strain. Using a fine mesh strainer, remove and discard the orange slices, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and star anise. Give the mulled wine a taste, and stir in extra sweetener if needed.
Garnish & Serve. Serve warm in mugs, garnished with a fresh cinnamon stick and an orange slice.
