2 oz Tanglewood Black Dawn

Black Dusk's bourbon barrel aging makes it a natural fit for this Old Fashioned-inspired cocktail. Paired with a touch of bourbon, its layers of black currant, caramel, and warm spice create a smooth, sophisticated evening pour.
Ingredients

3 oz Tanglewood Black Dusk

1 oz bourbon
-
2 dashes Angostura bitters

¼ oz maple syrup (or simple syrup)

Orange peel

Luxardo cherry (optional)
Instructions

Add Black Dusk, bourbon, bitters, and maple syrup to a mixing glass with ice.

Stir until well chilled.

Strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.

Cut an orange peel over the drink, rub it around the rim, and drop it into the glass. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry if desired.
