FAQs

Do I need a reservation to host a private event?

Reservations are not required, but they are encouraged for larger groups. Smaller groups will likely be fine with a walk-in. If you’re unsure whether your group is large enough to warrant a reservation, reach out to our team and we’ll help you plan your visit.

Are dogs welcome at the Tasting Room?

Absolutely! Outside the Tasting Room is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your four-legged friend along. We just ask that you keep them leashed and clean up after them during your visit.

Can I bring my kids to the Tasting Room?

Of course! Tanglewood is family-friendly, and we have soda available for younger guests who want something of their own to sip while the adults enjoy the wine.

Can I bring my own food?

Definitely. We have plenty of great food trucks stopping by, but if there isn’t one here during your visit—or you’re just in the mood for something from home—feel free to bring your own food along. We’ll supply the drinks.

Where should I park?

We have plenty of free, on-site parking right at the Tasting Room, so finding a spot should be easy!

Are your wines made with real fruit?

Absolutely. Our wines are made with high-quality Michigan fruit—especially antioxidant- and vitamin-rich blueberries—and contain no artificial flavors or fillers.

What else should I know before coming to see a band or attend an event?

Most Tanglewood events are free to attend, and outdoor seating is available. Since popular events can get busy, we recommend bringing a lawn chair or blanket so you’re guaranteed a comfortable spot to settle in and enjoy the music, food, and wine.
